I work for a fintech start-up in London, Iwoca, as the Head of Legal, where I managing the legal and compliance risks for the business and teams. I spent nearly 7 years in private practice as a corporate lawyer in London, Singapore and New York before moving to my first in-house legal role as Senior Legal Counsel at the start-up fintech Habito (a mortgage services provider) where I led on all financing investments (debt and equity). I’ve worked in the private practice sector as well as in-house for new, emerging fintech business, and would be happy to speak about either route.
