Luisa Waitschacher

After having studied English Literature at University of Exeter, it was very clear to me that I would like to use English on a daily basis. During my studies, I really enjoyed the internationality of the campus, which made me think that working in an international environment would be exactly what I would like to do. Since 2018, I work at a large international school as part of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) team. I am the school’s DP exams officer. In this role, I accompany students (aged 15-19) through the academically rigorous two-year IB DP programme, starting with advising on subject selections in grade 10, tracking the academic progress of grade 11 & 12 students, and giving presentations, as well as holding trainings. I also organise DP info events and small fairs but above all, I organise and supervise oral and written IB examinations.
