Talat Satilmisoglu

I completed my MSc in Water Engineering with Management at the University of Exeter and I currently work in the Innovation Department at Georg Fischer (Uponor Infra) in Sweden, while also pursuing an Industrial PhD in Urban Water Engineering at Luleå University of Technology. My work and research focus on stormwater treatment systems, sustainable urban drainage, and water quality management through both laboratory and field-based studies. What I enjoy most about the water sector is the combination of innovation, applied research, and real-world impact. Working closely with both industry and academia allows me to contribute to more sustainable and resilient urban water solutions, which makes the field especially rewarding for me.
