I came to the University of Exeter as they were one of the only universities at the time (in Europe) who had a joint sport science and medical science degree. Straight after my bachelors I worked for the women’s first team of a professional football club in Belgium for a season as the first Performance and Menstruation Coach in Belgium before doing the FIFA Masters. Then started working at European Football Clubs (EFC) where I currently work in the medical & performance unit.
My role and other roles since graduating have required thorough logistical coordination and operations knowledge. I have been charged with developing process improvement strategies for a multi national group, managed operations for digital marketplace databases, and coordinated international shipment logistics. I enjoyed being able to problem solve and think critically in my roles.
I came to Exeter due to the reputation of the Business School. I additionally fell in love with the campus. It’s beautiful and an excellent learning environment. I worked as an Exeter student ambassador because I truly believe there is much to be gained at the university.
During my studies, I had a year abroad in Switzerland. I ended up moving back to Switzerland for my full-time Master’s degree. I’ve been living in Switzerland for 4 years now.
Hello, I’m Natasha and I’m a communications professional currently working in sports media at Ealing Trailfinders Rugby Club. I work across both the men’s and women’s teams in the Champ and PWR. My role focuses on bringing the club’s stories to life through a variety of media assets from written to photo to video.
I came to Exeter because I loved the diversity of the English programme and how sport was a huge part of the institution’s culture. I also loved the campus and being near the beach, especially in the summer. Doing English at Exeter equipped me with hard and soft skills that have enabled me to thrive in my industry, namely communication, discipline, and creativity.
I love working in sports media because it allows me to be both creative and competitive and produce stories in a high performance environment. I get to create every single day and that brings me great enjoyment.
