I’m a researcher for unscripted TV shows (primarily entertainment and reality). Starting as a runner, I worked my way up into editorial teams. I didn’t know what career I wanted to pursue when I came to Exeter but ended up falling into unscripted TV and loving the creativity and chaos. I most enjoy the creative problem-solving my role requires, as well as the opportunity to work on vastly different projects. The TV industry can be a minefield, so I can offer advice about what to expect.

6 years experience in unscripted television before my teaching career, and currently tutoring children on film sets and working as a supporting artist in Film/TV.

Produced & directed films for outlets including BBC Three, BBC News, BBC Children In Need, BBC Earth, The Telegraph, and the House of Commons.

As passionate about digital formats as I am about documentaries, I’ve worked on everything from 30-second TikToks to 30-minute current affairs programmes.

With over a decade of experience across TV, journalism, documentary, branded, and short-form content, my drive lies in telling impactful human stories – no matter the platform.
